As far back as Heather Jameson can remember, music has influenced her life.

Now she intends using her wide-ranging talents, to influence the lives of others, namely those who enjoy a night out, sharing a drink with friends. Maybe they want someone to bring ambience to a restaurant or bar, or a thoroughly professional performer to enhance their function.

This is no new venture for the talented musician. She has made quite a name for herself in the top of the south, as a member of Mandel-Brot, which she formed in the late 1990s, a member of the three piece band 9-Inch Vinyl, and more recently as a solo artist and member of The Bluelounge Jazz combo.

She has performed as the main act at the Marlborough Wine and Food Festival, has entertained Prime Minister Helen Clark, provided the music for Hunter’s Garden Marlborough Cocktail party, as well been the main act at many corporate events.

Often described as having a sultry voice, she loves the jazz sound, made so popular by American artist Diana Krall.

“I am passionate about music, seeing it as releasing a creative force.” She believes it’s a powerful force that can help people escape from their day to day trials and tribulations.

 

Alistair McLeod began playing the ukulele at the tender age of four. As he grew, so did his instruments.

At 10 he started playing guitar, then at 16, the double bass. We're pretty sure he has stopped growing now.

Alistair moved to Marlborough from Wellington a few years ago to pursue a career in the wine industry. He teamed up with Heather in 2016, and since then they have been persuing a genre they like to call slinky.
